ABOUT US
In November 2009, the newly formed Peterson Arts and Education Fund, Inc. (now the Dr. Roy P. and Juanita Betz Peterson Arts and Education Fund, Inc.,) became a 501(c)3 nonprofit, with a dream of exposing undergraduates attending Central Kentucky colleges and universities to the classic art of vocal performance and competition. Dedicated to arts and educational outreach, The Peterson Vocal Competition was created to identify, recruit, and coach these rising stars in a professional development setting to further perfect their craft. Over the past 10 years, The Peterson Vocal Competition has paired over 114 vocalists with premier coaches and instructors catalyzing and enhancing the art of vocal competition.
The Dr. Roy P. and Juanita Betz Peterson Arts and Education Fund, Inc. is focusing its current efforts on a Fundraising Drive for the 2020 Peterson Vocal Competition and "A Musical Heritage Celebration in Memory of Dr. Roy P. Peterson" (date and time TBD).
Please assist in our efforts to continue to help students through a contribution to the Roy Peterson Arts and Education Fund. Your support affords us the opportunity to provide continuous funding for arts and education outreach to student achievers. More importantly, your donation and support will ensure the successful continuation of the Peterson Vocal Competitions and Musical Heritage Celebrations.
The Dr. Roy P. and Juanita Betz Peterson Arts and Education Fund has awarded over $25,000 to the winners of the previous Peterson Vocal Competitions. We would like to have continued successful events! Your contribution of $10, $15, $25, or any amount will make the difference, and it will make a tremendous difference to a worthy student. Students involved in the arts have additional costs (lessons, training, workshops, etc.) and thus need additional financial support to maintain their crafts. Your contribution will help these students in multiple ways.
We hope that you take pride in helping to make an infinite impact in the daily life of the Vocal Competition competitors, and we look forward to the beginning of a fruitful partnership. Make your gift of contribution today!!!
